The Reputation of Bronies- EDIT- Derpy Hooves[EDIT]
I made this blog originally BEFORE I had caught wind of the whole Derpy fiasco that's been going on. I'm a bit slow like that, with my lack of internet. But what I've seen this morning has caused me to NEED to bring this issue up with all of you, so please read this and take it as seriously as you took the previous one.
First of all, what I would like to point out from the previous post is that a lot of people were surprised, some even disbelieving, that bronies were trolling each other. Well, I'm here to show you some of the nasties that I've seen. I will only show you a link to ONE case, but know there are many more.
Someone showed me a deviant who had been brutally harassed by FiM bronies, because she was friends with an animator of the G1 MLP show. This animator was also brutally assaulted verbally, with threats on his life from hysterical bronies who hate the G1 show. Now, obviously, not everyone is like this. But there is enough bronies out there who are "FiM purist" enoug

Group Contest![EDIT] Several people have asked, and no, there is no limit on how many times you submit to the contest. You can put in as many ponies as you want.
In addition, I chose to make it other people's OC's because it is more challenging to make a design for someone else than it is for yourself.

Hello! Because of the surplus of points given by our wonderful members when getting a renewed super group, we have decided to hold a contest to give the points back to the community!
The contest is going to be for Gala outfit designs! Now, I know the Royal Wedding is coming up, but the outfits have already been released for the mane six, as well as many of the background characters. So this is going to be for the next year's Grand Galloping Gala.
There will be two categories, and three grand prizes!
First, canon character designs. This means the mane six or any canon backgro

OC Gala Contest REMINDER!Just a reminder folks, the Original Character portion of the contest is still running!
Just to be clear, here's the breakdown of the contest:
The goal is to make a Gala Outfit Design for an original character pony. Best design gets 1,200 !!!
-The only rule is that it must be someone else's OC! A lot of people were disqualified for doing their own characters for this! So, it NEEDS to be someone else's!
-You can put in as many designs for as many characters as you want, so long as they aren't yours.
REMEMBER! You CANNOT put in YOUR OWN OC OR PERSONA It MUST be SOMEONE ELSE'S!
-I' going to offer you some of the administrator's ponies up for you guys to choose from. Don't know anyone with an OC to draw? These characters are available for free range; you don't have to ask. If you're going to use anyone else's characters, you MUST ask. But these ones, you do not. So, here they are:

DerpyIt seems there has been alot of buzz about Derpy being "fixed". I saw the New version of Derpy in "The Last Round-Up" and I do admit it didn't settle well with me. I still enjoyed the original. I didn't like the reason why they had her change. It didn't seem at all offensive in my opinion. When I first saw the scene in the animatic, I literally burst with joy. But I had a feeling that it might not settle with some fans and some people. Especially since people already have their own version of Derpy and people might get the wrong idea of her character.
Its not often that cartoons show fan content. Cause sometimes when you include Fan content, it usually can result to something negative (to fans or to others). And sometimes it also endangers the identity/essence of the show. Or if people like it, they will probably expect a lot more.To the point they might expect TOO much. So you could imagine my surprise when they decided to name Derpy and give her a voice.

Updates and Clearing Things UpThere has been some issues recently regarding the Maturity Standard of this group. Allow me to elaborate what's been going on.
As many of you know, I made a blog asking for new moderators. In it, I expressed that many of the mods had been trolls. Here is what I meant by that.
Several of my moderators had been intentionally letting in mature things into the gallery, to troll. I fired everyone I caught doing it, and that cut down my mods by over half. Now, we've been trying to go in and remove everything that they allowed in, but sometimes we just can't find them. Which is where you come in.
If you find a mature deviation in our group folders, please let us know. Especially, the folder and page you found it on. We will remove it instantly.
I would like to thank everyone who's pointed things out to us, and things that we haven't removed, it's just because we haven't found them yet. But we will. Sadly we cannot remove them on the deviation's page, we must find them in the group.

Canon Gala Contest WINNERS!!!I'm VERY sorry this took so long but it was SO HARD to choose!
*xenacee, myself [=Wooden-Flashlight] and my friend ~Helix-Wing as our unbiased tie breaker finally picked who the winners are.
First up, the Main Prize and Characters portion! This was incredibly difficult, but it came down between two!
Our first place winner is *selinmarsou! With her entry of Princess Luna!

There were several Princess Luna entries, but this one stood out the most as it represented Luna as a character best. It's a clean-cut, flowing design with royalty brimming from the seams!

BroNYcon is a convention specifically for Bronies, held in New York!

For the upcoming convention in January, it has been confirmed that Nicole Oliver, voice of our dear Princess Celestia, as well as Andrea Libman, voice of Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie, will be in attendance! Daniel Ingram, the composer for the show, will be making a "virtual appearance" via Skype as well.

Just letting all of you know that this amazing talent will be here this January. In addition, amazing fan-artists such as John Joseco and Pixelkitties, and musicians such as Tarby and ChainAlgorithm, will be making appearances.

BroNYCon was the first MLP:FiM convention, and just continues to grow. Let's see if we can use the power of friendship to make it as big as possible so there can be many, many more!
