Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Canon Gala Contest WINNERS!!!

I'm VERY sorry this took so long but it was SO HARD to choose!

*xenacee, myself [=Wooden-Flashlight] and my friend ~Helix-Wing as our unbiased tie breaker finally picked who the winners are.


First up, the Main Prize and Characters portion! This was incredibly difficult, but it came down between two!

Our first place winner is *selinmarsou! With her entry of Princess Luna!

There were several Princess Luna entries, but this one stood out the most as it represented Luna as a character best. It's a clean-cut, flowing design with royalty brimming from the seams!

Our honorary mention, though, must go to ~InkRose98 with this gorgeous Celestia:


There were many others, but these two rose above the rest as far as designs go and clashed together in the end! Congrats to our winner and honorary mention!

Second, and I know you're all excited for this: the Minor Character's best design!

So, first place for Minor/Background character design goes to: ~YokoKinawa!


That's right, our favorite lovable Derpy/Derpy Whooves! This design fits her so perfectly, even our unbiased voter who knew nothing of ponies except for my synopsis of the characters instantly loved it. Indredibly well done design, flowing with open joy and very fluttery to stay out of the way from her clumsy hooves!

Our honorary mention goes to *CuteSkitty for her lovely Octavia!
